Report Card Note

Please remember that all 1st grade standards are marked to the end of the year benchmark. For your child to receive a 3, he/she must consistently meet the end of the year benchmark. Also some standards include many skills that take most of the year of the to teach. These standards are often marked with 2's due to the increased number and complexity of the skills. If your child has a 2 on the report card, it means that he/she is making sufficient progress towards the end of the year benchmark.

Please sign up for Seesaw
Dear Parents,

This year we're going to use a  tool called Seesaw. Your child will have his or her own learning journal, and you can get notified when your child adds new items. It's completely private -- only you can see your child's journal outside of class.

Click on https://app.seesaw.me/s/093-598-686 to sign up -- it takes just 30 seconds.

Once you sign up, you can download the Seesaw Family app for iPhone or Android, or access your child's journal on the web.

P.S. If you have more than one child using Seesaw, or want to add a new class/school year for your child, follow the link in this email, then click 'Sign in' tab at the top. You do not need to create a new account.

Thank you!

It was a pleasure meeting you and your child tonight!  I greatly appreciate your time.  I am looking forward to getting to know your children.  If you did not complete the Google Form prior to or at Open House, please click the following link: Google Form
